Outside Sales Person - Fairfield County

SUMMARY Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales and promote corporate financial success while working independently in a fast paced environment. Fairfield County Resident Preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following Develop new prospects and follows up with business leads generated by the company in the assigned territory Meet monthly and quarterly sales goals as assigned Assist with developing the company image to external clients media and target customers Interact with existing customers to close exiting sales opportunities and increase sales of products and services in accordance with company goals Provide proper guidance of products to meet customer s needs utilizing familiarity with rental equipment and merchandise available. Collect and or coordinate payment or credit terms through securing completed credit applications. The completed application will identifying legal name address contact information references and project name for the sale opportunity. Process orders and quotations through company software All other duties as assigned INSIDE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Answer phones make outbound sales calls enter orders joint job site visits sourcing of products entering quotes e-mail blitz assist in the creation of the tri-fold hand out and down load leads from Dodge Reports Blue Book and Bid Clerk. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES None QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to one year related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer knowledge. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. One must possess the ability to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. One must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public.
