Location Gamma Dr. Pittsburgh PA Department 3210 Engineering ServicesDescription Responsible for developing and executing test protocols that ensures hardware designs meet all applicable compliance (EMC RF Safety) requirements. Monitor compliance requirements as new versions or changes are released and update design documentation and testing accordingly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for developing and executing test protocols that ensures hardware designs meet all applicable compliance (Environmental EMC RF Safety) requirements. Works closely with development engineers to define test protocols for Environmental EMC RF and Safety verification validation testing. Responsible for the management and execution of compliance focused test activities. Responsible for report generation of all compliance test activities. Interfaces closely with regulatory engineers and coordinates release activities and interactions with regulatory agencies. Produce documentation to prove product compliance with agency requirements across multiple countries and trace said requirements to test protocols and reports. Adheres to product build and release schedules and strategies. Performs other duties as assigned by Management Supervisory Responsibilities None Qualifications To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Educations and or Experience Requires B.S. degree in an electrical engineering or equivalent and a minimum of 3-8 years of relevant experience. Experience working with Agency safety standards Hands on test execution and report generation Test protocol development 3rd party test coordination Test fixture development are required. Experience working with IEC 60601 EMC test execution and lab coordination Certified body test coordination and Medical device safety testing are desired. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems and make appropriate judgment calls to insure the correct outcome. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applicable test development tools and associated technologies.
