Junior Batcher Empack - Brampton ON Job Description To correctly batch all up-coming orders before the production has starts in a safe manner. This position requires the Junior batcher chemist to ensure that the proper totes are being used by providing instructing the line supervisors and to assist the main batcher chemist with any additional batching requirements Job Requirements Prepare necessary ingredients and equipment for Blending Blend the ingredients to prepare the order Cooperate with Production Chemist and QA person for any quality tests and concerns up to the final step of quality approval of the batch Prepare to move the final product to designated location Ensure all equipment is cleaned before during and after each time of Blending process and that it s recorded into the appropriate Sanitation Log Book Record all necessary Documents such as Formulation Sheet Sanitation log Scrap Report ect. Conduct the Blending process with Production Chemist supervision to the highest level of accuracy and quality. Ensure that all formulation papers are signed off by the QA QC personnel and also have another chemist inspecting and signing off on the formulation before the product is at the lines Skill Requirements Experienced in operating Blending equipment s Ability to read and understand the basic chemical definitions Math skills Strong organizational skills Following SOP s Able to read and write fluently in English Understanding the basic use of pumps and mixers Physically able to lift 50 lbs Able to keep work areas clean and tidy Organized person Experience Previous batching experience an asset Language Speak English Read English Write English Shift Requirements Fulltime Permanent Monday to Friday 8 30am-5 00pm or Monday to Friday 3 00pm-11 00pm
