Magnolia Hospice Direct Patient Volunteer

Locations vary across Mesquite to Fort Worth Texas. Primary function is to provide assistance and support and creativity without compensation to hospice patient family hospice team. In need of compassionate volunteers aged 18 years old and older. As a volunteer you will visit with hospice patients once a week for a minumum of 30 minutes. The following you may do for patients in nursing homes You may sit with patient to provide relief for family caregiver You may reminisce with the patient over their life Provide direct care companionship to patient family caregiver Provide reading praying for patient For hospice patients residing in their homes you may do the following Errand assistance for patient family caregiver Grocery shopping assistance Provide preparation of meals Provide reading praying for patient
