HR Supervisor- Food

This position is located in Roswell NM candidates must be willing to commute or relocate to the areaSUMMARY Management Business Solutions (MBS) is seeking experienced HR professionals for a Human Resources Supervisor role in the Roswell NM area. This individual will manage the day to day operations of a very large plant and handle administration of all human resources policies procedures and programs in a manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity to continue your career as a HR Supervisor and work in the a variety of functional HR areas including but not limited to benefits and compensation employee relations compliance health and safety recruitment and HRIS. RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the day to day human resources operations and administration in a 24x7 manufacturing plant execute company HR policies and strategies at the plant level Drive employee engagement efforts and promote a positive culture in the plant by recommending implementing and supporting employee relations practices and procedures and acting as a business partner to managers supervisors and employees Coordinate recruiting efforts and lead the new hire onboarding and orientation process Advise supervisors and managers on performance counseling and progressive discipline Oversee the corporate internship program and assist with project development coaching and mentoring for interns at the plant Provide advice assistance and follow-up on plant policies procedures and documentation to ensure compliance with all existing federal and state regulations Act as the plant subject matter expert on workers compensation providing case management for active claims and coordinating with plant supervisors to ensure restrictions are met and lost time is minimized Oversee attendance tracking system performance documentation process and HRIS Provide day to day benefits administration services and act as the plant subject matter expert on the company benefits program QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in business human resource management organizational development or a related field required PHR certification preferred Minimum of 5 years of broad based HR experience required Supervisory experience required Manufacturing industry experience preferred Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law and HR best practices Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and diverse populations Ability to support a 24x7 manufacturing operation including holiday and weekend coverage if needed MANAGEMENT BUSINESS SOLUTIONS IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
