Real Estate Administrative Assistants perform routine tasks around a real estate office. They do not need to possess a license to buy and sell real estate but they do handle clerical work including answering the phone filing documents and talking with clients. Assistants will answer questions that clients have over the phone schedule appointments answer emails and meet the needs of their employers. Some assistants will also draw up contracts and make lists of client wishes before scheduling an appointment. Other related clerical duties include data entry scanning printing faxing photocopying and distribution.
