1982 Land Rover Series 3 109 Hard Top With only 45 000 original miles and spending most of it s life in sunny Greece it is in fantastic shape inside and out. The original frame is in fantastic condition with absolutely NO RUST a very rare find on these early Land Rovers This is an extremely rare version of the Land Rover Series 3 109. It is a very versatile model having a removable hardtop. Keep the top on for the winter install a canvas top for the summer or remove it and the door tops all together Under the hood the original underpowered and smokey 2.25 diesel engine has been professionally upgraded to a 2.5 Turbo Diesel unit fully rebuilt by renowned engine builders Turner Engineering in the UK. The engine has approximately 1000 miles on it. Power steering has also been added to make this a more comfortable daily driver. It has a 4 speed manual transmission with a high low range and locking transfer case. The rear differential is a heavy duty Salisbury unit. All 4 tires have about 90% life left and are the hard to find limited production Michelin XZL 7.50X16 s Electrically EVERYTHING works. All lights windshield wipers and washers fan horn etc. The upper and lower dash and seats are in great shape with no cracks or tears. All glass is in fantastic shape with no chips or cracks.
