These beautiful winter and spring fruit bearing fruit trees are very drought hardy when established. They have very large tropical-looking glossy dark green leaves with serrated edges. They form a dense shade cover and are ideal as a natural umbrella for the summer heat. Loquat trees have a sweet yellow fruit that is ripe in March through April each year. All my trees are grown from seed in horse manure compost only. Loquat trees grow to a height of 20 to 30 foot tall depending on the water they get and are prolific fruit bearing trees. They do not require pruning and i have not encountered any diseases with this tree in the many gardens I have grown it. This is a beautiful tree whose fruit I have enjoyed in many places over the last 50 years and is grown all over the world. Lastly it makes an ideal evergreen screening tree. Trees can be planted throughout the year straight out into your garden from the containers you get from me. Water when planting. I use horse manure compost. Trees sell at 10 per foot in height.
