This is an all original matching numbers 1971 Ford Torino GT Convertible with the Marti-Report. This car came with a special order 351 Cleveland engine with 4V closed chambered heads and is freshly rebuilt ported and polished balanced and sonic tested from S& J Engines in Spokane Washington was modified to run all modern conventional fuels and only has about 1 200 miles on the engine. The engine was rebuilt with a double roller timing chain and gears a new Edelbrock RPM Air-Gap intake new 670 Holley Street Avenger Carburetor Mallory MSD Electronic Ignition System a new 4-core Radiator and a high volume oil pump. The C-6 Automatic Transmission shifts flawlessly. The chrome Power Booster and Master Cylinder are both new. The front end has completely been redone new upper and lower control arms sway bar bushings tie rod ends and springs all new. This car came factory with posi-traction rear end and has traction bars as well. This car launches STRAIGHT. The interior has been redone in black vinyl with matching black carpet and are in perfect condition. The black vinyl convertible top has a glass back window not a single tear and goes up and down smoothly and fast. The factory hide-away headlights are also in perfect working order.
