Immediate opening for a LIVE-IN caregiver interested in providing positive behavior support and assist with activities of daily living for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. We have a beautiful 6 bedroom 7 bathrooms newly build DD-Adult foster home. Currently we have 5 young ladies. We are looking for a dependable person with the desire to assist the people we support. . We are located in Milwaukie by Clackamas Town Center mall. This position is a live-in. Pay is negotiable and based on experience. You will have a private suite with a private full bathroom in the bedroom. Included with this position are all utilities food and laundry. Potential for growth within our business such as future Resident Manager. Job Description You will mainly be providing assistance with activities of daily living such as Daily entertainment activities and some community outings Assisting with personal hygiene and care Medication administration and documentation Meal preparation cleaning and laundry Positive behavior supports and basic life skill coaching Implementing Individual Support Plans Properly handling a crisis and follow protocol in stressful situations. Job Requirements Have a current valid driver s license Must be 21 years of age Have or be willing to complete the following required training OIS training (This is a 2 day training class that s a total of 16 hours. We will provide you with info where to obtain this) Pass the caregiver basic training test that s given by Clackamas County. (There are training videos available online that go over the test subjects.
