Working Foreman outside Plant (OSP) Construction (Telecom) The Working Foreman - OSP Construction is responsible for leading and working with construction personnel in the construction of aerial buried and underground fiber optic cable and associated structures and facilities. The foreman ensures that the work is performed safely and that it is constructed in compliance with all established standards and procedures. Required qualifications Motivated self-starter with a passion and drive to start and complete projects Ability to read work plans and execute them Experience and understanding of utility construction methods and procedures (Telecom experience preferred) Knowledge of buried aerial and UG telecommunications cable facilities is preferred Ability to operate construction equipment (excavator backhoe directional boring equipment and etc.) Valid driver s license in good standing (CDL is a plus) Ability to verify work was completed per applicable guidelines and standards Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in utility construction (Telecom preferred) Knowledge of National Electric Safety Code (NESC) Standards
