My name is Marc Nakamura and I am a 2015 graduate of the University of Washington School of Art. While I am creative and thrive in a creative environment I have worked at various administrative jobs to help offset tuition costs. I quickly found out that I can thrive in an office setting as well being that I am very meticulous and organized. Currently I work at Community Psychiatric Clinic as the lead electronic health record software specialist. As recently as May 1 2015 CPC still used paper records but had to switch to electronic records before the end of the year. My supervisor recognized my ability to maneuver and adapt to new technology and allowed me to take the lead role in transitioning our organization to electronic health records. In the early stages of the project I had to teach myself administrative fiscal and clinical functions with little software instruction....
