Solano Community Harvest

We will harvest fresh backyard fruit for donation to hunger relief agencies (soup kitchens food pantries shelters and the food bank) in Solano County. We will have all the necessary equipment including buckets picking-poles ladders clippers gloves and crates with us. Please wear closed-toed shoes and clothing appropriate for the expected weather conditions of the day and come prepared to be outdoors for four hours. Other items to consider are Water Snack Hat and Sunglasses Gardening gloves Brown bag to take some fruit home You can learn more about The Urban Farmers at www.theurbanfarmers.org. All participants must register to volunteer and electronically accept the release of liability waiver (copies available for download here).
