Film Festival Coming to America - Films Dealing with Immigration

The Shrewsbury Public Library thanks to a donation from the Friends of the Shrewsbury Public Library is excited to offer a free film festival entitled Coming to America. 3 thought-provoking films will be shown at the Temp Site Meeting Room projected on the big screen and shown with great sound for all those that are interested. While the showings are free seating is 1st come 1st served. People are welcome to come for any or all of the films. Those in attendance may also bring whatever movie snacks they wish to the event. The schedule is as follows 10AM English Vinglish (From India to America)- An inspiring story of an Indian woman learning to navigate an unfamiliar city New York. She joins a conversational English class meets a diverse group of people makes new friends and gains confidence....
