RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATE POSITION Join our team at Herb Creek Landscape Supply We are dedicated to helping our customers by providing expert horticultural knowledge and topquality landscape products.As the Retail Sales Associate the ideal candidate will be familiar with all aspects of the nursery industry including but not limited to customer service basic horticulture inventory management and the day to day operations of a retail plant yard.The Retail Sales Associate must be able to interact with all staff vendors customers landscapers etc. in a professional manner at all times.The ideal applicant is organized capable of multitasking and works efficiently to complete assigned projects. She he is a teamplayer and has the ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic work environment.Responsibilities Promptly greeting customers assisting with selections loading plant material and merchandise.Organizing and displaying all merchandise for optimal attrativeness to create and drive salesSurveying customers and participating in promotionas directed by Store Manager.Receiving vendor deliveries pricing and moving material to correct areas which may occasionally require lifing and moving of up to 50 lbs.Maintaing plant material inclduing butnot limited to watering weeding pruning scouting for insects and disease etc.Job Requirements25 years of horticultural retail sales or other workrelated experience preferred.Ability to operate in a fastpaced environmentAble to represent the company in a courteous and professional manner.Good organizational skills and ability to manage time efficiently.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks for various individuals.Experience in the following not required but considered valuablePoint of Sale Experience and use of software system to manage inventory.Experience with scheduing and managing client accounts in sales system.
