April SAME Lewis and Clark Post Meeting

Post Members This is the Kickoff meeting to reactivate the SAME Lewis & Clark Post. We have new leadership in place that is committed to sustaining the vitality of our post. Meetings will be held quarterly. The speaker for the April meeting is Mr. David James with Avista Corporation. Mr. James will provide a presentation entitled The Grid which discusses the interconnected transmission Grid in the western U.S. that stretches from northern Mexico to southern Canada and encompasses the state including and west of New Mexico Colorado Utah Montana and Wyoming. It s a huge land mass and requires that all interconnected rotating machines and electrical systems synch to the same electrical frequency. The RSVP deadline is Mon four April.
