Explore the Outdoors 5k Fun RunWalk

Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation in partnership with Washoe County and KNPB Channel 5 is proud to present their Explore the Outdoors 5K Fun Run and Walk at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. The run kicks-off the EXPLORE THE OUTDOORS fifth Annual Spring Event. A day of family fun at the park brought to you by KNPB Channel five and Washoe County. The 5K (3.1mis) Fun Run and Walk begins at 9 00 am on Saturday April 16th and starts and ends at the Chinese Pagoda just west of the May Museum at Rancho San Rafael Regional Park. Directly following the 5K at 10 00 am is a free 1K Kids Fun Run at the start finish line.Registered runners are highly encouraged to pick up their explorer bags which include a commemorative t-shirt and other goodies on Friday April 15th from 8 30 am to 5 00 pm at the Parks Foundation office at 50 Cowan Drive in Idlewild Park.
