Regional Roundtable Enriching Out-of-School time for Youth Coeur

Join the Idaho AfterSchool Network in our 1st round of Regional Roundtables and a discussion on how we can collectively maximize resources partnerships and communication to support youth during out-of-school time (OST). By the time a child reaches the age of 18 they will spend 79% of their waking hours outside of a classroom. Multiple studies and research reveal that youth consistently enrolled in OST program perform better academically have better school attendance adjust better socially and emotionally have healthier lifestyles and are more likely to graduate from high school and go-on to higher learning. They are also less likely to abuse drugs commit crimes or become teen parents. The IAN will support the roundtables by creating a hub of the youth services identified on-line so that the communities can easily refer back to those when needed....
