Children s Spring Nature Immersion

Come join us on a journey of discovery and learning. We ll explore areas high and low seeking spring plants animal activities and returning birds and frogs in the woods meadows ponds and marshes. Activities and hands-on learning will complement our travels. Come prepared to be away from the Visitor Center for most of the day and be dressed for wet wild muddy and all other early spring elements. Children should pack a sack lunch that they can carry in their day pack. Ages 8-12 (limit 12). Instructor Nicholas Gale is a naturalist who has been teaching outdoor workshops at the KVR for 10 yrs.
