The Christian bible is the most adored book yet most Christians can t seem to tap into the power that was demonstrated among early Christians. The problem is we have been led to believe that being saved and born again are the same thing when in fact they are not the same. Being saved means your spirit has been changed being born again changes your body and mind. Being saved is like 2 2 4 being born again is like advanced calculus The following will get you started on being born again and once you get started God will be your guide. Philippians 2 5-6 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus who being in the form of God did not consider it robbery to be equal with God When I first heard this from an evangelist my thoughts were A man being equal with God That is blasphemy I prayed about it over a period of days simply asking God Is it true Is that the way I m to think equal with The Holy Spirit helped me to understand all of this better with the attached image. Equal with is better described as a partnership with Father Son and Holy Spirit. The circle represents this partnership with Father Son and Holy Spirit. We are a reflection of our Father. Greater than is a mindset that God does not tolerate the devil tried to get there and failed. Less than is the mindset most Christians have today. Partnering with God is why you now have the authority to stop sickness in your body and to keep you from harm. Partnering with God is why you are now God s representative on this earth just as Jesus was. Matthew chapter 27 Mark chapter 15 and John chapter 19 are the scriptures telling us Jesus was scourged or beaten. Isaiah chapter 53 verse 5 tells us the beating Jesus took was for us to live in perfect health on this earth by saying by His stripes we are healed. Wouldn t it be sad if Jesus was beaten only to have us say No thanks I d rather learn a lesson from my illness. Psalm chapter 91 verses 11 and 12 say For He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up lest you dash your foot against a stone. This scripture tells us we can t be harmed by anything or anyone. An example of what Christians believe today would be Well if it s God s will that I have cancer then praise God I ll bear my cross and deal with this cancer If I live praise God If I die praise God If a Christian is killed in a car accident what is often heard is It was just Brother Smith s time to go. He is in Heaven with Jesus and we ll see him when we get there. Deuteronomy chapter 28 verses 1 14 These verses tell Christians that they are blessed. We can t be anymore blessed than what God has blessed us in these scriptures. Many Christians simply pray Just meet my needs Lord. Believing it is Gods will for them to be in poverty. Romans 10 9 say If I confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead I will be saved. I do not know of any Christian that does not take this scripture at face value. I have never heard of anyone that thinks it may be God s will for them to go to hell. So why don t we believe it is God s will that we are safe prosperous and healthy Matthew chapter 7 verse 7states Ask and it will be given to you seek and you will find knock and it will be opened to you. Our definition of ask puts the responsibility on the other party. In other words God you do it. I looked up ask in the concordance and it has multiple meanings for our English word. In the Strong s Concordance reference 154 in the Greek section ask is defined as beg call for crave desire or require. In contradiction reference 4441 defines ask as strictly a demand of something due. Matthew 7 7 uses the Greek word meaning demand of something due. I know we don t demand anything from God. We proclaim what is rightfully ours. Just as children don t beg for food from their parents they know what is rightfully theirs and they take it. When we understand our position and authority we can daily proclaim our Declaration of Health Protection and Provision stated below I cannot be sick any sickness that threatens me is saying Isaiah 53 5 is not true and therefore is saying Jehovah God is a liar and there is no sickness that has the authority to call the Creator a liar I will not be fearful of anything or anyone any situation that threatens me would be a situation that says Psalms 91 11 is not true and therefore is saying Jehovah God is a liar and there is no situation that has the authority to call the Creator a liar I will be provided for. Deuteronomy 28 1-14 makes it very clear that I am blessed and I will have all that I need. There cannot be a situation where I lack food water clothing shelter whatever it is that I need. Jehovah God will not be called a liar We do not call God a liar by being sick fearful or poor the sickness fear or poverty in our life is what is saying God is a liar so the sickness fear poverty must go.
