Under broad supervision will provide customized nutritional guidance for patients (adult and child as indicated) who have diseases such as diabetes hypertension hyperlipidemia HIV and or risk factors for heart disease risk factors during pregnancy childhood obesity etc. Will provide medical nutrition therapy. Serve as a resource on nutrition to nurses and physicians in the health department and to provide education to groups or public as needed. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s degree in dietetics human nutrition food and nutrition nutrition education food systems management or a closely related field from an accredited college or university from an Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics accredited program AND One year of experience as a dietitian nutritionist AND Registration as a Dietitian by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics Commission on Dietetic Registration AND licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Georgia OR eligible for licensure and obtain licensure within 45 days of employment.
