Summer Creativity Camp (3rd-5th Grades)

Spend a week as painter sculptor writer photographer illustrator and poet Whether you are a new artist or an experienced creative genius you will be welcome challenged and encouraged. This camp will teach young people to take inspiration from literature history and the remarkable landscape of our hometown to create unique pieces of art and memorable experiences. Students will spend each day interpreting literature improving writing skills and learning studio art techniques across a multitude of genres and disciplines. Classes will be held Monday-Friday from 9 00 am- 12 00 pm. Location will vary depending on the day of the week. Spaces are limited to ensure a small teacher-to-student ratio. Students will need to bring their own watercolor sketchbook a pencil and a camera phone or tablet (for Thursday only). The instructor will provide all other materials. Monday Redwing Park Draw inspiration from nature and Monet to write Haiku Poetry and illustrate in the impressionist style....
