The house is on 3rd and C St. SE. Each month is 1 250 not including utilities. The room in question has five huge windows (tons of sunlight ) is on the second floor and Ill be leaving behind my bed dresser and a piece of ladder storage. The photo with the dresser only shows half of it so combined with the closet its a good amount of space. I work from home and the room is both spacious and bright enough to make it the best home office bedroom Ive ever had. The house is a 10-minute walk from Eastern Market with plenty of coffee shops bars and restaurants along the way down Pennsylvania Avenue. Its ideal for someone responsible or interning on the Hill as the Capitol and congressional office buildings are basically steps away. There are also two Capital Bikeshare stations across the street and the house is a 15-minute downhill walk to The National Mall. Theres one bathroom which is shared with my awesome 26-year-old roommate. Shes a journalist who hosts trivia night and likes beer and brunch so clearly shes great to live with (Im only moving because my boyfriend and I are moving in together). Shed prefer to live with a woman in the same age range who is clean and respectful. The rest of the house has more than enough space for two people. Laundry is in the basement which has been converted into a second unit. All you have to do is text the woman who lives down there to coordinate when you want to use the washer dryer and youre set. The move-in date is flexible but it would ideally be by March 15th.
