Self Care and Women of Color in Tech

Join us for this one-of-a-kind workshop on the topic of underrepresented women of color in the technology industry & self-care. After this workshop you will be able to examine your current habits & determine ways to change your lifestyle to develop a better work-life balance. The workshop will be facilitated by Vanessa Mason Founder of Riveted Partners and our founder Elen Awalom. Your ticket purchase includes complimentary dinner & drinks. Ms. Mason has over 10yrs of experience in health care innovation and consumer engagement in both the United States and developing countries. Vanessa earned her BA in psychology from Yale University and her MPH in global health from Columbia University. She also serves on the Health IT advisory board for Transdisciplinary Collaborative Center (TCC) for Health Disparities Research at Morehouse School of Medicine and on the board of directors for Mind Body Awareness Project an Oakland-based nonprofit that supports at-risk youth though mindfulness meditation education.
