Accounting Manager

We are seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager for our fast-paced client located near Concord NH. This position reports to the Controller and oversees one accounting associate. Overall responsibility for general ledger accounts payable accounts receivable payroll budget sales and use tax job costing postings and reports filing tax reports month and year end closings. Must have experience with all aspects of a small accounting department. Experience with job costing and prevailing wage work is strongly preferred. Must have the ability to solve complex accounting issues and possess strong time management organizational and accounting software skills (construction accounting software is a strong plus). Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Business with a minimum of five years of related experience is required. Experience in a construction or construction related industry is preferred.
