Charter School

The founding group of Las Americas Discovery Charter School proposes opening a new public charter school in CSD 17. The LOI will be submitted in June 2016 to NYSED. If the proposal is approved LADCS will serve students in kindergarten and first grade in the fall of 2017 and grow each year to ultimately serve students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The proposal and school will be founded on 1. High teaching and learning academic excellence 2. Innovation teaching and learning 3. Student responsibility and parental partnership.
