Think Tank Imagining New Ways of Learning with SD 23

The Innovative Learning Centre at UBC Okanagan and School District 23 are pleased to invite you to an inaugural Think Tank Imaging New Ways of Learning. This full day collaborative learning opportunity will be held on June 10th (8 30 3 30) in EME 1123 at the UBC Okanagan campus. Morning coffee lunch and parking will be provided. For educators in SD 23 your Teacher on Call (ToC) costs will be covered as well. The purpose of our coming together is to establish a network of educators and those interested in education to explore ways of thoughtfully bringing making coding circuitry and robotics into interdisciplinary K-12 teaching and learning by creating new ways of learning and teaching in their classrooms and beyond. Together this network will work to broadening our understanding of the impact that design thinking computational thinking and spatial reasoning can have on new ways of learning and teaching. NOTE Parking is free on campus for the day of June 10th....
