East-West Party Rental & Wedding Decors Ltd is looking for 1 Event Decorator to work on events across the Lower Mainland.The Event Decorator will perform the following duties Coordinate and schedule the delivery set-ups staging seating and parking and take down times for tents chairs and other equipment. Participate in event site selection and attend to related details Order supplies equipment and material Train crew in safety procedures and company policy Prepare present and manage event budgets arrange and contract services. Assist tent assembling crew as required Resolve work related problems and provide customer service when needed. We are looking for a candidate with a university degree or college diploma in business tourism or hospitality administration OR minimum 2 years of experience in hospitality or tourism administration or in public relations or similar positions are required. Working experience may be a substitute for formal education.Additionally we are looking with someone who will be willing to work flexible hours to meet the event hours late nights weekends holidays etc.Fluent in English have great communications and people skills.Compensation 23.00 hr for 35-40 hrs week.We are located at 8128 128 St. suite 182 Surrey British Columbia V3W 1R1Please apply to this position by emailing your resume to eastwestp.jobs(at)gmail.com
