Piano Lessons

Piano lessons for beginner and intermediate pianists. Lessons will be taught at my home on my Baldwin 6 foot grand piano. Cost 25 per 1-hour lesson. About the teacher Darin Kennedy has been involved with music since his earliest childhood. He began piano at age 4 and continues taking regular lessons with a private instructor Beverly Russell piano professor of Central Piedmont Community College Charlotte NC. He attends St. Peter s Episcopal Church in Center City Charlotte along with his family. It was there in 2010 that he became interested in the installation of the church s new C.B. Fisk pipe organ having helped with the installation process tuning and voicing and playing the instrument after installation was complete. This inspired him to study organ for 8 years with Carol Lillard an organist in the Charlotte area at the time.Darin has always been homeschooled which has allowed him to practice and develop his passion for music. He is a member of the Mastersingers a group from The Choir School at St. Peter s where he has earned his Gold Ribbon the highest honor for musical excellence. He has played the organ for numerous churches in Charlotte and other surrounding areas as well as having an opportunity to play at the National Cathedral in Washington DC. He is also the regular pianist organist for Sunday evening services at St. Peter s Episcopal Church as well as organist at Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Shelby NC.Years of piano experience 15 YearsYears of organ experience 10 Years
