Rachelle will be coming to DC soon Special adoption considerations Rachelle is a high energy pup Meet Rachelle This resilient and rambunctious pup is an 8 month old shepherd mix weighing in at 38 lbs as of early Jul 16. Though we don t know how or why Rachelle ended up in her situation we do know she belongs in a forever home Could you be her forever family Being an older puppy Rachelle has a lot of energy She will need multiple walks a day a daily run or long hike and or frequent trips to the dog park or doggie day care to provide her the mental stimulation she needs. Even though she does have a lot of energy Rachelle still loves to cuddle She would also benefit from obedience training to best socialize and bond with her new family. Rachelle is good with other dogs and children so she would be a great addition to a number of households Even though she has lived with other dogs and children Rachelle will still need your patience as she adjusts to her new home with your family. Regarding cats we haven t seen Rachelle interact with them yet. If you have a cat let us know and we ll do our best to find out how she does with them Like most shelter dogs Rachelle may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained. The adoption fee for this dog is 350 which includes the cost of routine vetting including vaccinations and spay neuter.
