Kids Can Cook (Summer Series) Summer Fun in the Kitchen For kids ages 9-14 One of the most important life lessons kids can learn is to learn how to cook and be confident in the kitchen. Research shows kids are likelier to eat healthier if they can prepare their own snacks and meals. This summer Tracey Miller health coach cooking instructor and contributing author to the book Cooking with Kids along with her 10-year-old daughter Mackenzie is offering a series of 3 cooking classes to introduce kids to fresh ingredients basic kitchen skills and cooking techniques. And some fun in the kitchen Kids will learn basic cooking skills cooking terminology and how to use healthy ingredients. She ll also teach kids how to read food labels the importance of eating fresh whole foods and how to be safe in the kitchen. At the end of each class each child is given ingredients to create a recipe using the skills they learned and the opportunity to produce a short 90-2nd cooking video....
