This incredible Barracuda was built several years ago and used as a show car exclusively. It has rarely been street driven and NEVER raced since the custom build. This very high end and very expensive build is as close to perfect as they come. In 1968 only 50 Barracuda 426 Hemis were produced. Fewer still were Fastbacks. Although this Barracuda was not born as 1 of the 50 today it is every bit a 68 Barracuda with a 426 Hemi that was built in honor of the Mopar Super Classic. It was built with all new MOparts and far better standards than any car of the 60s. This incredible machine starts with an engine and drive train to die for. A New 426ci 510hp Hemi an TKO Tremek 5-Speed transmission & a DANA 60 Posi with 4 11 Gears. The cost of this alone can easily top 35000. A MARTZ ENGINEERING Sub frame with a front & rear coil-over suspension was also used. For stopping power 4 wheel Wildwood Disc Brakes were added to 17 Boyd Coddington wheels. A custom dual exhaust system tops it all off. A completely new NOS interior looks better than anything youve seen. Every piece of chrome or trim on the interior is all new NOS or beautifully refinished. Seating is redone beautifully in its original black and is better than new. This is a rear seat delete car and a roll bar was added. The fit and finish is like every other piece to this car flawless. It is a laser straight body painted in its original color of Rally Red. All chrome trim weather stripping & glass is NEW and like everything else flawless. There is not much more we can say about this work of art.
