Mature Responsible House Sitter for Portland Area

My husband and I are transitioning to live in the Portland Vancouver area sometime next year. In the meantime I have some work that is taking me there for different periods of time. I am looking for housesitting opportunities to both help me get to know the area and to have a place to stay while I am in town working. I am a long time homeowner and have been a landlord and I understand how to take care of a house and yard. I can care for dogs (I love dogs) but am allergic to cats. I will need a place from October 28-November 6 those dates are flexible. And will need a longterm commitment from mid-February-mid-May 2017....
