Rebecca is a veteran teacher and tutor entering her eleventh year as an educator. She has previously worked as a tutor for Atlanta Tutors LLC. Athens Tutors LLC and Educational Connections Inc. in Washington D.C. Rebecca s tutoring specializations include SSAT SAT ACT and other standardized test preparation and she has worked with students of all ages from elementary through the first year college students to raise scores and gain strategies for success on the test. Along with test prep Rebecca also serves as a subject-area tutor in literacy mathematics and the social studies. Rebecca works to tailor her tutoring sessions to the needs and goals of each individual student. Rebecca is an experienced educator who has worked in elementary and middle school classrooms across Atlanta and Washington D.C. teaching literacy mathematics social studies and working as a learning specialist for middle grades. Rebecca holds both a masters in education and an educational specialist in educational theory and practice from The University of Georgia. She currently teaches 5th grade language arts at an independent school in Bethesda MD and tutors students in upper elementary through high school.Rebecca is available for summer tutoring beginning July 1st. She also works as an after-school and weekend tutor during the school year. She is available to tutor via Skype or other online services in order to make tutoring more convenient for student and teacher.
