We offer a whole house or room for up to two guests with shared dining room living room kitchen washer and dryer dishwasher and bath. This cozy two-bedroom home originally owned by the renowned Sheriff Magham (nicknamed Cat for sneaking up on moonshiners) with original heart pine floors built in 1910 and it is adorable. Come feel what it was like to have solid wood walls and solid wood siding. The home also has storm windows for added insulation from the elements. The home has vented natural gas heating which really gives a cozy feel with substantial heat. For summer it has window air conditioners that do the trick. Lawn service will be provided by the landlord. The place includes free parking with a four car driveway and typically plenty of street parking. It fresh paint throughout done in 2015. It is located close to downtown which is a hop skip and jump down Main St to Duke University DPAC 9th Street Main St downtown Durham Bulls Baseball Park and fine restaurants and bars or take a short trip down 147 to RTP. It also offers a fourteen-inch mattress in queen size. You will be pleased with your stay and find it very interestingly cozy. They don t build them like they used to.
