Coulson - Male German Shepherd Dog Mix

Hi I m Coulson. I m a German Shepherd mix. My DOB is 11 22 12 My family adopted me from the shelter when he was 9 months old then was left me outside alone for three years. I have been around small children my whole life and I m very good with them. I love to play ball. I can get scared when a small child back me in to a corner and scares me I may feel the need to defend myself by growling or nipping. I don t mean to hurt so I think I d rather a family with older children. I am great when you are home with me I m so well behaved I lay on my blanket and chill with you. But if you leave me alone I get very anxious and scared and I kinda chewed up my families couch rug and tore up out blinds. I do not chew on ANYTHING while the family is home though. My second family tried to keep me in a fenced yard and a metal crate inside the house but I chewed my way out of both so I am on a chain outside while they are gone but is inside the rest of the time. I will need a kennel that I cannot escape from or a family that is home with me. I am mostly house trained and had only one accident in a month at my new house. I sit and lay very well. But I need a little work on heel and stay. I am a very laid back dog as long as someone is with me. I hardly ever bark. I am fixed. My adoption donation is only 150... More Info
