Roosevelt needs a foster or better yet a furever home Meet Roosevelt Roosevelt is an adorable 1-2 year old shepherd beagle mix weighing in at just 25 lbs. Because of his age he is likely done growing which makes him the PERFECT size for an apartment or lifelong travel buddy Roosevelt though out of the crazy puppy stages will still need PLENTY of exercise and cannot wait to grow and learn with you when he arrives in DC He has no idea how he ended up in a scary shelter but he s dreaming of long walks and trips to the dog park in his future. He d love to play with new toys explore the neighborhood and even go to obedience classes to learn just how smart he is He s counting down the minutes until he can meet your friends go on trips and cuddle up with you on the couch after a long day. Roosevelt is good with other dogs so he d be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog. We haven t had a chance to see him interact with kids or cats yet but if you have them let us know and we re happy to find out for you Like most shelter dogs Roosevelt may need a refresher on housetraining. He is likely crate trained. The adoption fee for this dog is 350 which includes the cost of routine vetting including vaccinations and spay neuter.
