Oscar Felipe Neves Japa is the founder and head instructor at the Professional Training Center. He is a third Degree Black Belt Professor in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and has over 15yrs of teaching experience.Japa was introduced to the martial arts at the age of 5 when he began training in Judo upon a doctor s recommendation. Between the ages of 5 and fourteen Japa trained in many other martial art styles i.e. Capoeira Muay Tai Karate Kick-Boxing and Freestyle Wrestling but Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu became his favorite because of the complexity in the use of varied techniques.Once the decision to focus on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu was made Japa devoted his life to the training of the complex martial art. In Rio de Janeiro Brazil he started his training at the Carlson Gracie Academy. At seventeen he moved to Petropolis Brazil where he met and began training with Master Aloisio Silva at studio Dojo where his involvement and love for the martial art style grew and led to a lifelong commitment....
