Bristol is a sweet and loving 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd mix. She has super soft fur and one piercing blue eye. Bristol is a high energy girl and would love an active lifestyle. She absolutely loves her toys she carries her stuffed animals around the house and can play with them for hours. She will do anything for a tennis ball Bristol is eager to learn and wants to be her very best dog. She has moved around a lot in her short life and lacks stability and consistency. Due to this she can get anxious and wound up easily. She will do best in a calm patient and consistent home who understands the needs of herding dogs. Bristol knows all of her basic manners and is housebroken. She can live with older dog savvy children but cannot live with young kids at this time. She is not an apartment dog and will do best with a fenced yard to play and run in. She loves playing with dogs and will need to go to a home with a balanced and playful doggie sibling. However Bristol has a bad habit of over-correcting very submissive dogs so this will need to continue to be worked on if she is to be trusted off leash. Bristol ignores cats and chickens. Don t underestimate this girls energy she can keep up on any hike or bike ride you can do. She may also do well in a farm setting and would excel at agility flyball or any doggie sport. She is not for the first time dog owner and will do best with an experienced family.
