Stillwater OK Multi Arts Center seeks Executive Director to manage staff facilities programming and marketing for community arts center with approximately 10 000sf of studio space.The Multi Arts Center of Stillwater is a public art facility that partners with local artists and professionals who wish to share their artistic knowledge as well as support the local art community. Dedicated to education and outreach we promote support for the arts and artists by providing opportunities to create explore and be exposed to various mediums of art. Multi Arts Center strives to stimulate artistic creation and appreciation and serves the public by offering a variety of high quality classes and workshops for adults and children as well as special gallery installations and exhibits. Multi Arts Center offers a relaxed friendly and creative atmosphere for children and adults to learn. Multi Arts Center often partners with local and state organizations to offer quality programming including classes and special exhibits. Additionally Multi Arts Center is home to be one of only a handful of public glassblowing facilities in the U.S. Specialized workshops and demonstrations are available for civic groups visiting tour groups scout badge workshops birthday parties and more. The Multi Arts Center also has a renowned sales gallery where artists exhibit and sell their artwork.The successful candidate will be have a bachelor s degree and five years demonstrated leadership and business administration experience. Key skills include knowledge of budgeting and planning staff supervision and program development. With a small staff and limited resources the person selected will be expected to deliver programs that engage educate and entertain the community as well as visitors.The City of Stillwater is in north east Oklahoma. As of the 2012 census the city population was estimated to be 46 560. Stillwater is home to Oklahoma State University and maintains a small town atmosphere with the amenities of a major university including a vibrant arts community.
