We are looking for the individual that can understand the use of tools is computer literate is not afraid of getting their hands dirty and has a strong desire to make a long term commitment to the automotive industry. Disclaimer This is not an easy job. No trade job is. It requires hard physical mental work every day. If you work on a vehicle you are responsible for the safety and accuracy of your work. This job also requires starting at the bottom -- oil changes and tire installation. It takes years of training to become an accomplished technician. Starting pay is good and fair and eventually good technicians with lots of experience make lots of money. Just like plumbers electricians and welders. We require a minimum of a high school diploma. Advanced education such as tech school is a plus. Experience of any kind is a plus. Applicant must have valid driver s license. Applicant must be physically capable of performing the duties of a technician. Daily duties include Oil Changes Tire Rotations Tire Mounting and Balancing and Tire Repair. Experience in Fluid Exchanges Battery Testing and Installation Replacement of Lamps Bulbs and Filters helpful. Additional duties include working as a General Shop Helper by helping other technicians assisting Lead Tech Shop Leader Auto detailing shop cleaning lawn maintenance and snow removal.
