Pete - Male Cockatiel

Pete (9 years old) is a Cockatiel Bird. Pete was brought to our facility with his friend Chrissy when his guardian decided he could no longer take proper care of them. Pete is rather attatched to Chrissy and they would do best going home together. Cockatiels are social animals that require time outside of their cage bonding and hanging out with humans. Because of their intelligence they need lots interesting toys to play with to stay stimulated. Unfortunately Pete was rarely handled by his previous guardian and will take a little time getting used hanging out with humans regularly. Pete is 9 but cockatiels in good health have an average lifespan of 15-20 years so don t worry Please speak to an animal care technician if you have any questions about Pete.... More Info
