RED CHESTER - Male Terrier (Unknown Type Medium) Mix

Meet Red Chester The sweetest most adorable little Terrier mix boy you could ever hope to meet Chester is a 19 pound 1 year old Rat Terrier mix boy who came into rescue from a kill shelter in rural Tennessee. It s unbelievable that someone would not try to claim this sweet and funny boy. Chester has the cutest and most expressive face. He is such a people pleaser and is so full of love and joy that he can t stop smiling when you come home or you give him some attention. Chester really does smile although some might be afraid of his teeth it really is an expression of how happy this little guy is. Chester gets along well with all the dogs at his foster home and loves everyone he meets although sometimes he is a little shy at first meeting. Among his favorite things to do are chewing on elk antlers receiving belly rubs and curling up at your feet (or on your lap). Chester is getting used to walking on a leash and will be quite a good walking companion for someone. He has nice house manners and is doing well with housetraining. He hasn t had a chance at playing in a big enclosed area yet but he looks like he would enjoy some ball playing and fetch. Chester is not fond of being crated and does bark when his people leave so he may not be suited to being left alone all day at home by himself or in an apartment setting. A furry playmate or a home where the humans are present often may be best for him. Chester has been vetted neutered microchipped is current on shots and is patiently waiting for that lucky person or family to get in touch with Candace to let her know they are interested in bringing him into their lives.
