Last year Animal Control had to come help me. I had been hit by a car and I was hurt very badly. I had big open wounds and broken bones. But my owner never took me to the vet. Animal Control came and took me and got me veterinary attention. They had a cast put on my leg and treated my big open wounds. I felt much better. The people at Animal Control wrote my people tickets for neglecting me. When we went to court my people got me back. They put me right back out in the yard and didn t crate me like they were supposed to so my broken bones would heal. Animal Control tried and tried to get the man to surrender me to them so they could get me a rescue-but he refused. FORTUNATELY at least the judge made them continue to follow up at the vet that had helped me and she eventually convinced my owners to let her help me instead of them euthanizing me which is what they wanted. The nice vet lady helped me and did surgery on my leg. I went through months of physical therapy. She saved my leg Now I am ready for my own family. I have been fostered waiting for Wisconsin to come-and now it is time for me to start my journey Adoption Fee 400We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI 402433 We do not have a central adoption center at this time.
