You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi my name is Olive My previous dad left me with his friend and said he d be back for me in a week but he never came back. His friend couldn t keep me so I was surrendered to a local animal control. One of the volunteers there fell in love with me (I mean how could you not ) and became my foster and that is how I ended up at ARLP I am a silly goofy smart energetic girl and I love to play. I mean I m still pretty young so I have a lot of energy but once I calm down I love nothing more than to snuggle with my foster parents on the couch or lay on my doggy bed with a nylabone. Momma says that I am crate-trained and don t make much of a sound when I am in my crate. I have soft blankets and toys to keep me busy. In fact I am so quiet that my foster parents say they ve only heard me bark three times since I came to live with them. Even when my foster sister is going crazy barking at something I don t make a peep. I just watch with curiosity at what is going on. So I am not sure how good of a watch dog I will be One of my favorite things to do at my foster home is look for squirrels. My foster parents have a fenced-in yard with a big oak tree and I will sit outside at the base of the tree watching the squirrels. I get along with my doggy sisters Peanut a pit bull mix and Minnie Mouse a chihuahua but Minnie is really little and I sometimes like to chase her so Momma says I probably shouldn t live with cats or small dogs because they don t understand that I just want to play. I would do best with a submissive larger doggy sibling who likes to play because I am exuberant and want to play a lot. I am not sure about children because my foster parents only have dogs but because I can get rambunctious I would probably do best with older children. One of the things my foster parents love about me is that I am super smart. I knew sit shake (with both paws) and down before I even came to their house. I am working on leave it and off and am coming along well.
