Homer came to us from another shelter and had been there for 1.5 years can you believe it He was in a shelter for over half his life We have him in one of our amazing foster homes right now and she just cannot believe he wasn t adopted in the previous shelter. Homer is an extremely sweet and loving 2.5 year old German pointer mix. He will be your best friend He s a very happy boy and has a permanent smile on his face. He loves cuddling with his humans and playing outside with a ball. He is leash trained and does not pull or bark. Homer doesn t have any known health issues and is already potty trained. He does very well in a kennel and with other dogs and would be great with in a home with older children. He s still working on some of his manners but he has nearly mastered sit after less than a week with his foster family.
