Production room processes all types of produce. Educational Requirements High School Diploma or G.E.D. Experience Required Proven ability to work independentlyAbility to perform work assignments at an acceptable productivity level.Food Production experience with Produce - preferred 1 year at a minimumProduce Experience Specific Responsibilities Responsible for the quality of finished productResponsible for adhering to all Food SafetyResponsible for adhering to ALL company policies and proceduresResponsible for adhering to sanitation and safety procedures.Responsible for adhering toproper handling of all produce according to SQF standardsResponsible for the cleaning of your work area and any other area assigned to you by your production Supervisor Manager.Responsible for meeting minimum pacing standards as assigned by Production ManagerPerform other duties as requested by management Physical Requirements Must be able to work in a cold wet environment (approximately 34 degrees) for long periods of time.Must be able to lift 25lbs 60lbs of boxes of produceMust be able to stand for long periods of timeMust be able to stoop and bend frequentlyMust be able to use best practices for respective motion throughout the dayMust be able to work with sharp instruments such as knives peelers hand cutters for long periods of time.Must have open availabilityBe available to work weekends overtime (12 hr. shifts).Dependable transportation Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
