PLUS - Receive a company provided RTD Pass with your employment Job Scope The Landscape Technician is responsible for landscaping office building medians and parkways. This includes snow removal during the winter months. The Landscape Technician as with all Shea team members is expected to conduct himself herself in a professional manner that is consistent with Shea Core Values and the Business Ethics Employee Conduct and Confidentiality policy. Job Duties Pulling weeds Shoveling snow Cutting grass Planting flowers Technical Professional Knowledge & Abilities (Knowledge Skills Education and Experience) Must be 18 years of age or older Entry level position. 0 to 1 years of landscape experience. Physically strenuous position requiring outdoor work in all weather conditions. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. This is a full time position hours may vary (7 00am to 3 30pm Monday through Friday with some overtime and weekends) Colorado driver s license in good standing highly desirable. Work Environment The Landscape Technician works outdoors. The position work schedule varies depending on the weather. Hours are usually scheduled from 7 a.m. 3 30 p.m. The position is required to work weekend days (Sat Sun) if there are heavy snow falls. However the Landscape Technician should be flexible with availability depending on the needs of the customers. Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand walk sit use hands reach with hands and arms stoop kneel squat and lift objects. May be required to lift and or move up to 50 to 75 pounds. Must be able to occasionally drive during the course of work.
