JOB SUMMARY The Human Resources Payroll and Benefits Specialist performs responsible and technical accounting work and will work within established systems and procedures in the processing of payroll. The Human Resources Payroll and Benefits Specialist prepares and reconciles bi-weekly payroll conducts research prepares and submits reports and ensures employee information within payroll database and Human Resource Information Management System are consistent and properly updated. The Human Resources Payroll and Benefits Specialist is also responsible for administering the benefits program. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Required Associate s degree in business or related field. Three (3) years experience related to payroll in an organization of 300 employees or more. Three (3) Years experience administering employee benefits program. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree requirement. Valid Alaska driver license clean driving record proof of insurance current TB skin test health screening and the ability to pass a criminal background check.Preferred Bachelor s Degree Bachelor s degree in business or human resources.
