Parish Office Manager

Description The Shrine of the Sacred Heart in Mt. Washington seeks an office manager to organize and coordinate the office operations and procedures while promoting a positive environment. Job Responsibilities Performs administrative duties such as sacramental record keeping filing typing etc. Coordinates scheduling of events and activities on the parish calendar Assists visitors new parishoners pastor and fellow employees as needed Maintains office equipment orders supplies as needed Maintains the parish website Records and maintains donation and census information Works collaboratively with staff members as needed e.g. to produce bulletin plan meetings etc. Performs other duties as assigned by Pastor or Parish Manager Qualifications High School diploma or advanced degree required Must have previous office management experience Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite for Windows programs such as Outlook Word and Excel Experience with ParishSoft database software is preferred Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times Must be able to organize and prioritize work tasks independently Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of the Catholic Church structure and teachings is preferred For more information please call 410-466-6884 ext 10
